Hi, I’m Katie. I’m a 47-year-old mom of two.
About a year ago, I started noticing changes.
Little things at first.
I was waking up in the middle of the night.
Getting hot flashes at work.
Crying at commercials.
But then things got worse
.
I couldn’t sleep more than a few hours.
I gained 18 pounds in six months… even though I hadn’t changed my eating.
I’d get dizzy, anxious, and overwhelmed over nothing.
Then one day, my daughter was laughing too loudly at the table…
And I snapped at her.
She didn’t even say anything back.
She just looked at me — eyes wide, scared — and ran to her room.
And that’s when I broke down.
I realized this wasn’t “just stress” or “normal aging.”
Something inside my body was out of balance.
And it was costing me everything.
